Cleaning up our neighbourhood
As part of our commitment to the eco-congregation project we take care of our local
environment. Here’s an opportunity to show that we can co-operate with others in this work.
The Reading clean up weekend, under the auspices of RESCUE, is scheduled for 13/14th
March and the Caversham clean up is being organised by Caversham GLOBE who have
arranged two events as follows:
Tuesday 9 March 2010 - RESCUE Rivers & Environmental Spaces Cleanup event.
10am Balmore Park Litter Pick: Meet at the HemdMeet at the Hemdean Road Surgery
entrance by the Allotment Gates.
2pm Hill's Meadow Litter Pick: Meet behind the Recycling Bins.
Gloves, sacks and litter pickers will be provided for both events. Please arrive in good time.
